Jeff Buckley 美國獨立歌手，最獨特也最為人津津樂道的是他的獨特嗓音，不過他的早逝令人婉惜，只活了31歲，在世期間只發過一張錄音室專輯Green，在製作第二張專輯時，因某天和朋友到密西西比河遊船，突然興起想玩水，連衣服都沒脫，就跳下河，從此之後..就good bye了(如果在台灣就會說，是被抓去當交替的吧..)！那是1997年的事，在留下Green這張經典專輯後就過世了。而未完成的第二張作品在1998年被以紀念的雙CD發行Sketches For My Sweet heart The Drunk。

這首Last Goodbye是 Jeff Buckley最著名的一首經典歌曲，憂愁的歌詞嗓音加上編曲，真是不陷入Jeff Buckley的世界都難，讓人有種在深夜中悲傷和矛盾夾雜的感情交錯...
