根據報導，The Good, The Bad & The Queen 這張新專輯的概念，正是寫給「脫歐」後的英國，而這首The Poison Tree 《一棵毒樹》是英國作家威廉·布萊克的作品，詩歌選自詩集《天真與經驗之歌》，這是一首富有政治色彩的抒情詩，表達了民主的進步思想，同名詩中表達了憤恨和墮落的性情，同時反映敵友間鮮明的愛憎態度。
不過我喜歡的是，這首歌的注定分離與祝福 。
