我很喜歡的一首歌，收錄在2003年MUSE的Absolution專輯，也是我最愛的專輯之一。翻譯歌詞之後有這首歌的解釋，是關於陰謀論的，非常有趣，有興趣的不彷看看！

看過其他人對於這首歌是以關於情愛的角度來翻譯，不過我自己卻不這麼認為，一來是MUSE的歌一向很少描述感情，二來是主唱Matt一向非常喜歡陰謀論、政治學、神學、外星宇宙等稀奇古怪的事物，他常將自己的興趣寫進歌詞，尤其這張Absolution裡到處可見。

直到我查出端倪，並更加確定歌詞含意，是因為我發現了這首MV是模仿史丹利庫柏力克(Stanley Kubrick)1964年的知名黑色政治喜劇奇愛博士(Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb)的場景之一，劇情大概描述是指一名瘋狂的美國將軍因相信蘇俄正陰謀腐化美國人民，而決定對蘇聯發射原子彈，此舉將會導致蘇聯反攻，引發毀滅全世界的第三次世界大戰… 。這部奇愛博士被稱為成功諷刺六十年代美俄冷戰時期國際政局荒謬、不安氛圍之喜劇經典。奇愛博士相關劇情可見這裏。

或許這首歌帶有政治迫害之含意吧！不過who knows呢，連我自己都猜不透，不過我自己是比較喜歡這種解釋方法，也歡迎大家討論指教。 :)
